Multicheck diagnostic
In Dr. Auto Transmissions we work with your transmission only once a multicheck analisis is done.

In our system, we first gather all data that could be relevant in a particular trouble observing elements that could contribute to the failures. This is to make a complete and accurate diagnostic.

Customer remarks. For us is the most important thing is the contact with our customer, listen and recognize all the synthoms that the unit presents.

Checking level and conditions of fluid
It is basic that the transmission work with a right level of fluid and proper conditions of oil.

Visual Inspection
This step consists in a visual examination of anti-vibration mounting supports, connections, mechanical chains, vacuum hoses, hydraulic lines and connections, electrical items and oil leakage.

Functional tests
In this examination we revise the operation of speeds and their timing to evaluate the acceleration pressure ,governor pressure and the performance of valves set under normal conditions (and forced also) in both ways up and down.

Checking Oil in Carter The lower deposit of oil is dismounted to exam the oil´s condition and check if there is friction, metal or aluminium particles that could evidence damage in internal components of the unit.

Scanning
This operation is done only in electronic transmissions (those who are equipped with electronic sensors and signal processors), and consists in electronic monitoring with scanners and digital oscilloscopes to access dysfunctions codes.

Checking line pressure
This procedure is to review that the pressure of line show proper calibration for different needs in the positions of selector lever.

Internal Checking As final step we proceed to dismount and disassemble the unit to evaluate and confirm the GRADE of damage and type of repairing needed.
